1. Scope

These Terms & Conditions (AGB) apply to all Revit and BIM courses offered by THA Academy, operated by TOMIĆ HAN ZT e.U. They govern the contractual relationship between the course participant (“Participant”) and TOMIĆ HAN ZT e.U. (“Provider”).

2. Course Format and Participation

The RCC (Revit Crash Course) and all other THA Academy courses are held on specific dates and in small groups. A booking is valid for the selected slot (morning or afternoon slot) across two consecutive days.

3. Prices and Payment

All prices are listed in Euro and, unless stated otherwise, exclusive of VAT. Payment is completed online via our secure payment system at the time of booking. A booking becomes effective only after successful payment.

Payments are processed securely through Stripe (Stripe Payments Europe, Ltd.). The legal relationship concerning payment processing is governed exclusively by Stripe’s own terms, which apply independently of these AGB.

4. Discounts

We offer three types of discounts.
If you qualify, we’ll send you a personal coupon code that you can use at checkout.

1. Student discount – 25%

If you are a student, please send us your proof of enrolment (Studienbestätigung and Transcript) and a short CV via Instagram DM (@bim_academy_tha) or email (office@tomic-han.com).
Once verified, you’ll receive a –25% coupon for the course.

2. Group discount (5 people) – 15%

If you register as a group of five, and there are still 5 free seats in the chosen slot, each person in the group receives –15 %. Please contact us via Instagram DM (@bim_academy_tha) or email (office@tomic-han.com) listing all five participants (full name + email for each). We will then send an individual coupon code to each participant.

3. Social media discount – extra 5%

If you agree that we may take photos and short videos of you during the course and use them for THA Academy social media, you receive an additional –5% discount. This social media discount can be combined with the student or group discount.

Combination rules

  • Student discount cannot be combined with the group discount.

  • The social media discount (–5%) is always on top of any other eligible discount.

5. Withdrawal & Cancellation (FAGG)

According to §18 Abs. 1 Z 10 FAGG, the statutory 14-day withdrawal right does not apply to services related to leisure activities or educational events when the contract specifies a fixed date or period of performance.

Since THA Academy courses take place on clearly defined dates, bookings cannot be withdrawn after purchase.

6. Explicit Waiver of the 14-Day Withdrawal Right

By completing the booking, the Participant:

(a) expressly agrees that the service begins before the withdrawal period ends, and
(b) acknowledges that the legal 14-day right of withdrawal is therefore waived according to §18 FAGG.

This confirmation is obtained through a required checkbox during the booking process.

7. Rescheduling and Replacement Participants

Participants may request to move to another slot if spaces are available. Alternatively, a replacement participant may be sent without additional cost. Requests must be submitted by email.

8. Provider Cancellation

If the Provider must cancel or reschedule a course (e.g., illness or force majeure), Participants will be offered a new date or a full refund.

9. Liability

The Provider is not liable for personal items brought to the course, nor for indirect damages. Liability for slight negligence is excluded, except in cases of personal injury.

10. Intellectual Property

All course materials, workflows, templates, and content are the intellectual property of TOMIĆ HAN ZT e.U. They may not be copied, forwarded, or commercially used without written permission.

11. Data Protection

Processing of personal data follows the Provider’s privacy policy. Data is used exclusively for course administration and communication.

12. Jurisdiction

Austrian law applies. Place of jurisdiction is Vienna.
