Peiying Han
“Architect, is the one balancing unrealistic and realistic stuff.”
Peiying started her design journey with painting since four years old. It inspired, supported and companied her with art creation and spacial sensation. She graduated Architecture Master Degree from Tongji University in Shanghai and Dipl.-Ing from Vienna University of Technology. Working experiences at Tongji Architectural Design (group) co. ltd in Shanghai and Bosshard & Luchsinger Architekten AG in Vienna expanded her skill and visions in design among multiple cultures and environment. She developed further exploration in urban design with Doctor research at Vienna University of Technology.
At 2019 she established TOMIĆ HAN architectural studio together with her husband Robert Tomic in Vienna. From painting to architecture and urban design, the journey of design continues.

2015-2016, active as architect (internship) at Tongji Architectural Design (group) co. ltd in Shanghai, with focus on urban design and architecture of campus buildings, office buildings and elder nursing buildings.

Peiying graduated Architecture at Tongji University in Shanghai and at the Vienna University of Technology. With passion of architecture and urban design research, she is active as a doctoral candidate at the Vienna University of Technology, with the topic of “Low carbon strategy and assessment system of regeneration project of waterfront brownfield” in Institute of Urban Design and Landscape, supervised by Professor Dr. Christian Kühn and Professor Dr. Markus Tomaselli.
